Guide: Microsoft Communications Server “14” and SIP Trunking with Acme Net-Net SD

A new download from Microsoft that is really helpful if you’re going to set up Microsoft Communication Server “14” with a Acme Packet Net-Net Session Director (Net-Net SD) Session Border Controller (SBC)

Download HERE

“Microsoft Communications Server “14” (CS “14”) offers the ability to connect to Internet telephony service providers (ITSP) using an IP-based SIP trunk. This reduces the cost and complexity of extending an enterprise’s telephony system outside its network borders. Acme Packet Net-Net Session Director (Net-Net SD) Session Border Controllers (SBCs) play an important role in SIP Trunking as they are used by many ITSPs as part of their SIP trunking infrastructure.

This step-by-step deployment guide has been prepared for the IP Telephony Service Provider as a means of ensuring that SIP trunking between CS “14” and Acme Packet SBCs is configured in the optimal manner. This guide can be used to support the SIP trunking reference topologies that are documented by Microsoft and Acme Packet in this TechNet article: Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Support for Acme Packet Session Border Controllers.”
